Set in a futuristic city

Neon rain fell over the chrome towers of Astra-9, turning the streets into rivers of reflected light. Delivery drones buzzed between skyscrapers, and holographic ads shimmered above the crowded skywalks. In this city, even the stars were half-hidden by glowing billboards.

Mira adjusted the interface band around her wrist and slipped through the midnight crowd. She wasn’t here for the music clubs or the sky-trams—she was here for the signal.

Every night at exactly 2:17 a.m., a strange pulse flickered across the city’s network. The authorities called it a glitch. Hackers called it a ghost. Mira called it hope.

She ducked into an abandoned subway station, long forgotten since teleport hubs replaced trains. The old tiles were cracked, but the air hummed with hidden servers. She connected her band to a rusted console just as the clock struck 2:17.

The pulse came.

This time, it wasn’t random static. It formed a pattern—a map projected in faint blue light against the tunnel wall. At its center was a symbol: a small green tree.

In Astra-9, real trees were extinct.

Mira’s heart pounded. The legend said that before the city rose in steel and glass, there had been forests. If someone had found a way to bring one back—even a single tree—it would change everything.

The pulse faded, but the map remained etched in her memory.

Above her, the city roared with artificial life. Below, in the forgotten veins of Astra-9, something real was growing.

And Mira was going to find it. 🌆✨
