On the edge of a sleepy fishing village lived a silver-striped cat named Luna. Unlike the other cats, Luna did not spend her days napping in the sun or chasing butterflies. She dreamed of adventure.
One windy evening, Luna spotted a glowing light far beyond the cliffs near the sea. The villagers whispered about it every year, calling it “The Star Lantern.” Curious and brave, Luna decided to find it.
She slipped through narrow alleys, crossed an old wooden bridge, and climbed rocky hills beneath the moonlight. Along the way, Luna helped a frightened fox cub escape from a thorn bush and shared fish with a lonely seabird caught in a storm.
At last, Luna reached the cliffs. There, hidden inside a cave, she discovered the glowing lantern. But it was not magic treasure—it was a lighthouse crystal that had fallen during a storm. Without it, ships could lose their way at sea.
Luna carefully pushed the crystal onto a small cart and rolled it back to the village lighthouse before dawn. When the lighthouse keeper saw what she had done, he smiled with amazement.
That night, the lighthouse shone brighter than ever, guiding sailors safely home.
From then on, Luna became known as the bravest cat in the village. And though she still loved warm naps by the fire, everyone knew that whenever the wind carried whispers of mystery, Luna would be ready for her next adventure.
