The Ancient Egyptian civilization was one of the most famous and long-lasting civilizations in human history. It developed around the Nile River in northeastern Egypt around 3100 BCE and lasted for more than 3,000 years.
🌅 Early Beginnings
Ancient Egypt began when Narmer united Upper and Lower Egypt into one kingdom. This started the Early Dynastic Period, when powerful rulers called pharaohs governed the land.
🏛️ Golden Age
During the Old Kingdom, Egyptians built huge monuments such as the Great Pyramid of Giza. These pyramids were tombs for pharaohs and showed the advanced engineering skills of the civilization.
