The Unlikely Friends

 

On a quiet autumn morning, a lonely fox wandered near a small village forest. He was clever but shy, and most animals kept their distance from him.

One day, while searching for food, the fox heard a soft chirping. A tiny sparrow had fallen from its nest and couldn’t fly. The fox could have ignored it—but instead, he gently guarded the little bird from danger.

Days passed. The fox brought berries and stayed nearby while the sparrow healed. Soon the sparrow’s wings grew strong again.

When it was finally time to fly, the sparrow circled the fox happily. From that day on, the little bird would visit him every morning, singing cheerful songs.

The forest animals were surprised to see such different creatures become friends. But the fox and the sparrow didn’t care.

Sometimes, the most unexpected friendships become the most beautiful ones.
